For pizza hearts, first prepare a pizza dough according to the basic recipe.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper and preheat the oven to 200 °C.
Season strained tomatoes with salt, pepper and dried basil. Cut onion into thin slices, turn bacon strips into small “florets”. Drain mozzarella balls and cut into slices. Wash cocktail tomatoes and also cut into thin slices. Pluck basil and wash.
Roll out pizza dough thinly on floured work surface. Cut out hearts with a large cookie cutter, or cut them out with a sharp knife. Brush the dough hearts with paradeis sauce, top with bacon, onion, cocktail tomatoes and mozzarella slices to taste, season with salt and pepper.
Bake the pizza hearts in a hot oven for 10-15 minutes (on sight!). Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
