Homemade baby food – First complementary food.

For the couscous-pumpkin-beef porridge, cover couscous with an equal amount of boiling water. Cover and let swell for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes, loosen with a fork.

Cut the peeled pumpkin into cubes. Trim beef well (remove fat and tendons) and dice as well. Cook pumpkin and meat cubes together in a little water until soft. Mix the vegetables and meat with the couscous and puree with a hand blender. Depending on the desired consistency, add a little more cooking water. Now stir in the oil and fruit juice.

If necessary, let the couscous-pumpkin-beef mash cool down to eating temperature.
