Homemade baby food – From 1 year old

For the millet soup, finely chop the onion, finely dice the carrot and celery bulb. Cut the leek into fine rings.

Heat butter or oil in a pot and brown the onion. Add the vegetables and sauté briefly, then add the millet. Add the sprig of lovage, salt and pour in 1 l of water and simmer over low heat until the millet is soft. Remove the lovage again.

You can puree the soup or serve it immediately.Sprinkle the finished millet soup with freshly chopped parsley.
