Rinse the plums, cut them in half and remove the seeds. Bring red wine, sugar and cinnamon stick together to a boil. Pour in the plums, simmer at low temperature for 2-3 minutes until soft and remove one more time. Boil the liquid even more until it becomes syrupy. Bring to the table over the arranged plums form with the lemon ice cream. Decorate each with a leaf of lemon balm.
