A cake recipe for all foodies:

* Flädle are narrow pancakes, which can be filled with sweet or savory, or cut into strips and used as a filling for beef soup (Flädle soup) or tomato soup.

Mix the flour, salt and eggs with a whisk. Gradually add the milk. Heat a little clarified butter in a frying pan. Bake the pancakes (2 per unit) one after the other. Repeatedly add a little bit of clarified butter to the frying pan.

Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Brush a gratin dish with butter. Peel 1/3 of the onions and chop them. Rinse the parsley, shake dry and chop finely without the fine stems. Heat 1/4 of the butter in a frying pan. Sauté the onion cubes and the parsley in it at low temperature until soft.

Mix the sausage meat with the steamed onion-parsley mixture. Spread the mixture on the pancakes, roll them up and place them in the gratin dish. Pour the whipped cream over them and bake in the middle of the oven for about 30 minutes until golden.

Peel the remaining onions and cut them into fine rings. Heat the remaining butter and fry the onions in it at medium temperature until golden. Remove the meatballs from the oven, cover with the onion rings and bring to the table.

Serve with potato salad.
