First, heat butter in a non-stick pan, place the ham (or bacon) in the pan.

Crack the eggs, add them to the pan and fry on a lower heat until the egg whites are cooked through.

Meanwhile, cut the frankfurter into thirds, cut on both sides, fry briefly in skillet, then drape on plate.

Season the ham and eggs with salt and pepper and sprinkle with chives.
