For the Halloween Burger, sear the beef patties (room temperature) on both sides in a grill pan (or on the grill), 2 – 4 minutes per side and desired doneness.

If desired on the 2nd side, add the cheese slice in addition. Peel carrot and then use a peeler to scrape thin slices lengthwise.

Wash bell bell pepper as well and cut into thin strips. Wash lettuce and spin dry. Cut the burger buns in half and toast the inner side, then spread with some ketchup, spread lettuce, carrots and peppers on top and place the patties on top.

Cover with the top half of the bun.
