For the curry sausage, sweat the finely chopped onion and garlic in 3 tablespoons of oil in a pot and add the brown sugar. Then briefly deglaze with the apple cider vinegar. Now add the ketchup, season with curry powder and let it simmer on low heat.

Season with salt if necessary. If the onion pieces are too large, puree the curry ketchup with a hand blender.Put the remaining oil in a hot pan, fry the sausages in it from both sides and then cut into 2 cm thick slices. Portion them on the plates and pour the curry ketchup over them.

Decorate with a little curry powder and the homemade curry sausage is ready.
