Instructions:

The porridge no longer tastes – and breads yet! Over-grilled they are a tempting alternative. Mix a smidge of fresh into the topping and be sparing with fat, meat and cheese. Important: The base should definitely be graham or possibly whole wheat bread.

For the sweet toast, place the bread slice in an ovenproof dish. Mix cream cheese with raisins and juice of one lemon and spread on bread. Rinse the apple, cut it into quarters, remove the skin and the core. Cut into thin slices and cover the bread with them like a roof tile – make sure that the edge is also well covered. Brush with honey and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Slide under the broiler until the apple browns.

Butter the whole wheat bread for the cheese toast. Rinse, peel and finely shred the carrot. Mix with almond kernels, crème fraîche and grated cheese. Press this mixture firmly on the bread, covering the edge well. Grill until the surface turns brown.
