Mix flour with milk, egg yolk and a pinch of salt to a thick dough.

Let the dough rest for about 30 minutes and let it run out of a Schnabelhäferl (small pot with a spout) over a snow rod directly into the boiling soup.

Bring the soup to the boil briefly and serve garnished with chives or parsley.
