For the salami rolls, peel and finely chop the onion. Blend the cream cheese and onion with a hand blender. Chop the chives very finely and mix in.

Season to taste with pepper and salt. Spread the cream cheese on the salami slices and then roll them up. Arrange the salami rolls on a platter and serve.
