Peppermint Sorbet, Lemon Balm Sorbet

1/2 lemon: juice

– Thuri Maag

– Make your own ice cream

Boil water and sugar and let it cool down. Add as many peppermint leaves to the liquid so that they are just covered by the sugar syrup. Leave for one day.

Strain. Add the juice of one lemon. Pre-chill the liquid in the refrigerator or possibly in the freezer.

Pour cooled amount into running ice cream maker and freeze. Freezing time 25 – half an hour.

Lemon balm sorbet can be made in the same way.

Our tip: If you like to cook with fresh herbs, it is best to get kitchen herbs in pots – so you always have everything ready!
