For the nougat rice pudding with marinated strawberries, first boil the milk with the rice, vanilla sugar, lemon zest and a pinch of salt and cook over low heat, stirring constantly until creamy.

In parallel, wash, clean and quarter the strawberries. Marinate with the distilled hazelnut schnapps and possibly 1-2 tablespoons of sugar.

Toast the grated hazelnuts in the foamed butter with 2 tablespoons of sugar until crispy.

Put the finished rice pudding on a plate, spread the nougat in pieces on top and add some rice pudding again. The nougat melts in the warm mass! Arrange the marinated strawberries next to it and sprinkle the roasted nuts over the nougat rice pudding.
