For the carrot whole wheat bread, first peel and coarsely grate the carrots so that about 200 g of grated carrots are prepared.
Now mix spelt and whole wheat flour in a bowl. Add salt and vinegar and stir in the prepared carrots and sunflower seeds.
In a measuring cup, fill the lukewarm water and stir in the fresh yeast until it dissolves. Then stir this into the flour-carrot mixture. This is best done with a food processor or mixer with the dough hooks.
Finally, grease a loaf pan with a little butter and fill it with the bread mixture. Sprinkle the bread with a few sunflower seeds and brush with a little water and place in the oven for 1 hour at 200 °C top-bottom heat.
