For the cabbage strudel, salt the cabbage, squeeze it tightly and let it steep for half an hour. Dice the bacon and sauté in oil with the onion and sugar.
Squeeze the cabbage, add it and season it, steam it with a little water until soft, let it cool and spread it on the strudel sheet, roll it up, brush it with butter and bake it.
Serve with sour cream.
