Omelets can only be baked one at a time, so they are the ideal single dish.

Mix the eggs and season heartily. Heat the frying pan strongly, mix the butter in it, it must immediately become hazelnut brown, then pour in the eggs on the spot. Wait a second until the eggs have a crust on the bottom, then shake the frying pan until the omelet floats on the butter film.

The omelet must still be wet on the surface, you let it slide directly onto a heated plate – if you are clever, give the frying pan a little push, then the omelet will roll up into half a roll.

Tip: Eat the omelet either plain or possibly season it with grated cheese before rolling it up, add diced tomatoes on top, kitchen herbs of your choice. Together with a leaf salad a wonderful meal.

Our tip: As an alternative to fresh herbs, you can also use frozen ones – they also stand out for their fresh taste!
