Preheat oven to 250 °C top heat. Clean the berries. Marinate with a dash of Grand Marnier, lemon juice and sugar. Strain the curd through a sieve. Mix with the remaining ingredients and fold in the whipped cream and the egg whites beaten stiff with sugar. Place the marinated berries in an ovenproof dish. Cover with the gratin mixture and bake in the oven at 170 °C for about 10 minutes.
