Instructions:

For the orange punch cookies, first prepare the cookie dough: To do this, mix the flour, nuts, sugar and vanilla sugar with the yolks. Then add the butter cut into pieces and knead quickly. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and let it rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.

In the meantime, squeeze the oranges and mix the juice with the collected pulp with the jelling sugar. If there is not enough orange juice, you can add apple juice. Add a little lemon juice and transfer everything to a pot. Put the punch spice mixture into a tea infuser (so you can easily remove the spices from the liquid later) and hang it in the orange juice mixture.

Let the juice mixture boil for 3-5 minutes, then remove from heat. Remove the tea egg with the spice mixture and pour the jam into a jar. Preheat the oven to 170 °C top/bottom heat.

Line several baking sheets with baking paper. Roll out the dough on a well-floured work surface, cut out shapes and place them on the prepared trays. Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes until nice and golden brown. When cool, spread with orange punch marmalade and assemble.

Sprinkle orange punch cookies with powdered sugar and store in a cookie tin.
