For the cabbage buns, dissolve the yeast with sugar in the milk and prepare a steam with a little flour.
Then make a yeast dough with the remaining flour, the steamed cabbage and the spices.
Let it rise a bit and then form small “Buchteln”.
Turn the dumplings in the melted butter and place them in a suitable baking dish.
Let rise again and bake in the oven at 160 °C for 20 – 25 minutes.
Then serve the doughnuts one by one.
