Pasta dishes are just always delicious!
Melt the yeast with a little bit of lukewarm milk (30 ml) and a pinch of sugar. Put the flour in a large enough bowl, make a hollow and pour in the yeast milk. Let this dampfl rise in a warm place with the lid closed (about 20 min). Later add 2 egg yolks, soft butter, milk (70 ml), 40 g sugar, grated lemon peel and a pinch of salt and knead a smooth dough. Let it rise for another 20 minutes with the lid closed. Later, roll out the dough to a thickness of about 3 cm and cut out circles with a diameter of about 5 cm. Place them in a well-greased baking pan and let them rise again for a short time. Later, pour in about 100 ml of milk. Bake the steamed noodles in the oven at 170 °C for about 20 minutes. Take out later and serve with vanilla sauce.
For the vanilla sauce, mix Maizena (cornstarch) with 2 tablespoons of milk until smooth.
Bring the remaining vanilla pulp to the boil with 500 ml milk and 100 g sugar, add the Maizena (cornstarch) and bring to the boil once. Then remove the saucepan from the stove and mix in the 4 egg yolks with a magic wand. Bring the sauce to the table lukewarm and mix again briefly before serving.
