A simple but delicious cake recipe:
Flour, yeast, lukewarm eggs, milk, sugar, salt, cardamom and fat in a wide form, prepare with the mixer or food processor in 5 min. to a smooth yeast dough. Preheat the oven to 50 for 5 min, turn off and let the covered dough rise in the oven for 15 min. In the meantime, rinse the raisins in a sieve under running water and dry well on kitchen roll. Add the raisins to the risen yeast dough form and knead briefly. Rise the dough repeatedly for 15 minutes, then roll out into a rectangle, form into a dumpling, place on a rested baking sheet.
Whisk egg yolk with 1 to 2 tbsp water, brush the dumpling with it, sprinkle with hail sugar and let rise for another 30 min, then bake.
