For the hedgehog cookies, prepare the shortbread dough according to the basic recipe. Form the dough into a roll and cut off equal-sized pieces with a knife. Shape into small balls. Flatten the back part a little and shape the front part into a point.

Bake the cookies at 180 °C top/bottom heat for about 10 minutes. Allow to cool. Coat the back part of the cookies with chocolate icing and sprinkle with chocolate sprinkles. Using brown sugar marker, pipe two dots for the eyes and one for the nose on the hedgehog cookies.
