For the lasagna, first boil the lasagna sheets in beef broth for about four minutes, then strain and rinse with cold water. Sauté the onion cubes together with oregano, Tabasco and the minced meat in olive oil. After about ten minutes, add the vegetables and five minutes later the remaining spices and the tomatoes. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper.
Grease a large gratin dish (about 20 by 30 centimeters) with a little butter. Place a layer of lasagna sheets in the dish, top with a layer of the meat mixture, a quarter of the cheese and the finely chopped basil, repeat layer by layer.Important: sprinkle a little more cheese on the last layer, finally add the butter flakes and breadcrumbs on top of the lasagna.
Bake the lasagna on the middle shelf in the oven preheated to 200 degrees for about 30 to 35 minutes.
