For the Easter ham with spinach, first prepare the bread dough. To do this, empty the flour into a bowl and make a small well.
Mix well water with sugar, yeast and salt. Empty into the flour well, sprinkle some flour on top and cover with a cloth.
Leave to rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Then knead well and let rise again for about 20 minutes.
Roll out the dough on a floured work surface to the thickness of a finger, spread a thin layer of mustard on it, spread the washed spinach on it and place the selch roll on top in the middle.
Fold the dough over the ham, press down well and press the ends firmly together.
Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and brush with the beaten egg. Bake the Easter ham with spinach in the preheated oven at 160 °C for about 45 minutes until the dough is golden.
