Undiluted whole milk should not keep a baby before the ninth month. It is advisable to mix the milk with water in a ratio of 1:1. With the whole milk formula according to our recipe, a baby can be fed from about the 5th month.
Put milk and water in a small saucepan, heat. Slowly add flakes, sugar and germ oil while stirring continuously, then remove from the kitchen stove. Fill the milk into the bottle.
This milk food is a valuable food from the fifth month. However, up to about half a year, breast milk is the best for the baby. If you are not breastfeeding, your baby should be fed an adapted or partially adapted formula. Please do not add anything extra to this food, i.e. no sugar, no flakes. The baby may react to this with constipation or flatulence.
As a general rule, home-made bottle-feeding is not recommended for newborns because it is very difficult to mix the nutrients in the right composition for the baby.
If anyone wants to make comments about the milk: I copy the recipes gleicher as they are in the booklet – without my own commentary. I’m still breastfeeding and I tend to feed more solid foods.
