For the spring salad, clean the lettuce. Cut the carrot into fine slices. Layer everything in jam jars, adding a few daisies last.

For the dressing, mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil, salt and pepper and pour over the salad just before serving.

Serve with fine chive stalks and some black sesame seeds!
