For Czech apple pie, steam about 1/2 – 3/4 kg apples (peeled) with 1/4 l water, mash them and add another 1/4 l water or apple juice (applesauce).

Mix 2 pkg. vanilla pudding powder with 1/4 l water and add to the applesauce. Add 15 dag sugar, bring to the boil again.

Line a cake pan with plastic wrap and place 1 layer of sponge cake, applesauce, sponge cake, applesauce in the pan. Finish with biscotti.

Leave the Czech apple tart to cool overnight, turn out, remove the foil and garnish with whipped cream. Good luck!
