Boil water, soup seasoning, raw chopped onions and the bay leaf together. Add the hot rinsed millet and cook for about 10 minutes.

Then turn off the stove top, put the lid on and let it swell. Do not look in and do not stir!

Finally, add butter to taste.

Now the millet can be eaten or further processed.
