Rinse and remove the stalks from the currants, fill bottles with candy and the sliced vanilla bean, pour grain, seal and leave for 8 weeks. Then pass the liqueur through filter paper, fill bottles repeatedly and seal.

This recipe is equally suitable for blackberries and sour cherries.
