For the cherry pie with quinoa, toast the quinoa in a pan without adding fat.

Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy. Gradually add the eggs and beat again until fluffy. Add the quinoa, buckwheat flour, hazelnuts, baking powder and vanilla sugar and mix well.

Line a baking tray with baking parchment paper and spread the mixture on it. Spread the cherries evenly on top. Bake the cherry cake in the preheated oven at 160 °C for about 40 minutes.
