Instructions:

For the Bismarck herrings in dill sauce, mix white wine with water.

Peel apple, remove core and cut into thin slices.

Peel onion and cut into rings. Add dill, apple slices, onion rings and lemon peel to wine-water mixture. Let Bismarck herrings steep in it for one night.

Mix yogurt, condensed milk and lemon juice. Strain apple pieces from marinade through a sieve. Season with sugar and salt.

Remove herrings from marinade, cut into bite-sized pieces and add to sauce. Sprinkle dill tips on top and serve the Bismarck herrings in dill sauce.
