A mixture of vegetables is favorable for your baby. Mix vegetables that grow above ground with varieties that grow in the ground, then the nutrient content complements each other peculiarly well. For example, carrots are particularly rich in carotene, kohlrabi is rich in vitamin C, and arugula strengthens digestion. Millet also provides a lot of vitamin C with the meat.
Rinse the vegetables. Remove the skin from the kohlrabi and cut into cubes. Remove the peel from the carrots and cut them into slices. Cut the arugula into fine noodles. Remove the threads from the celery and cut into slices.
Peel the apple, remove the core and cut the apple into eighths. Cut the turkey breast into thin strips. Bring 3/4 liter of water to the boil. Add celery, kohlrabi, carrots, millet and meat and cook at low temperature for about 10 minutes. Now add arugula and apple slices, cover and simmer for another 8 to 10 min. Blend the porridge with a hand blender, add a little water if necessary.
Divide into 6 portions, cool, fill into freezer bags, seal tightly, then freeze. Before use, defrost, bring to a boil once and stir one unit with 1 tbsp. butter or 1 tbsp. germ oil.
