For the apple swirl cake, slice the peeled apples and immediately sprinkle with the lemon juice.

Mix the ingredients for the dough together – it is enough with a whisk – and fold in the apple pieces. Line a springform pan with baking paper and pour in the batter.

Sprinkle the chopped walnuts on top Bake at 180° for about 75 minutes. After about 60 minutes of baking, sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon for the topping.

Serve the apple strudel cake.
