Briefly mix flour with all the baking powder and sugar in a food processor, add the butter and mix until smooth. In a Weitling form, mix in buttermilk and knead briefly into a soft dough. Do not knead too hard!

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of three centimeters. Using a floured round serrated cookie cutter five centimeters in diameter, cut out circles and place on a well-greased baking sheet.

Brush the top with whipped cream or milk and bake in a heated oven at 220 degrees for about 12 minutes until golden brown. Bring to the table hot.

Lousiana-style sweet rolls are very similar to scones. They taste best when filled with lots of jam and whipped cream. The dough must be kneaded very quickly and lightly, do not use too much flour when rolling it out.
