Put the yeast in a large enough bowl and let it dissolve with the liquid. Add the remaining ingredients, mix and knead intensively by hand or with a kneader.
Leave the dough to rise for about 40 minutes with the lid closed. The dough should be nice and tight.
Divide dough and shape into round or long loaves.
Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper and rise again with lid closed for about 40 minutes. Put the baking tray in the oven heated to about 220 °C and bake.
Variations: you can also add diced onion, garlic, bacon or a teaspoon of caraway seeds to the dough. Baking time
approx. 40 min.
