Mix the yeast with the lukewarm water. Let the vitamin C dissolve well in the cold water. Put the flour, salt and sugar in a large bowl and rub the fat into it. Then mix the yeast liquid and the cold water with the dry ingredients and form a smooth, pliable dough. Knead the dough ball on a floured surface for about 10 min (with a food processor about 2-3 min) until it is nice and smooth.

Form a ball of dough and leave in a warm place, with the lid closed for 5 min. Next, shape the dough into a loaf pan and place it in a large plastic bag, sealed, to rise at room temperature for 50 min (40 min in a warm place).

Bake the bread at 230 °C (gas level 4-5) in a heated oven on the middle shelf for 40 min.

The recipe yields about 1, 1 kg of dough.
