For glazing:


Defrost the puff pastry according to instructions, roll it out and spread the bottom and sides of the loaf pan with the pastry. Take off as much dough as you need for the lid.

In the meantime, mix the minced meat with the chopped onion, eggs and spices, kneading until the minced meat dough becomes stringy.

The pears or apples are peeled, cut into slices and put in layers with the meat in the loaf pan.

The rest of the dough is rolled out to the size of the mold and placed as a lid and pressed firmly. If you want, you can make small figures out of the leftover dough (see picture). Finally, glaze with a lightly beaten egg.

Bake in a well heated oven at 220 °C, after the time has elapsed check with a small stick if the pâté is done.

To serve: Any kind of fresh leaf salad goes well with pâté.
