For the fruit leather, peel the pears, quarter them, remove the core and dice the pears.

Bring to a boil in a saucepan with the sugar and cook over low heat until the pear pieces break down and almost all the liquid has evaporated (stir well!).

Add the raisins and slivered almonds and stir in.

Pour the fruit leather onto an oiled baking sheet and let set. Cut into lozenges and store in the refrigerator.
