Instructions:

For the fig schnapps, wash and dry the figs. Cut the dried and fresh figs into small pieces and place them in a large glass jar, sprinkle with rock candy and cover with rum.

Place in the sun for at least 4 weeks and shake often.

After that, pour the fig brandy through a muslin cloth into nice bottles.
