Instructions:

Pasta dishes are just always delicious!

1. make fettuccine al dente (see package instructions), drain, rinse and drain while warm.

2. while making the pasta, peel and dice the onion. Boil wine with onion and saffron threads to half. Pour in cream and simmer gently at low temperature for about 8 minutes. Mix cornstarch with 2 tbsp. water, stir into sauce and boil briefly.

Cut ham into thin strips. Heat olive oil in a large frying pan, fry ham in it and drain on kitchen roll.

Mix pasta with sauce, ham and parsley, arrange on hot plates and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
