Instructions:

For the feta chard strudel, first make the strudel dough. A recipe with detailed instructions can be found here.

While the dough rests, you can now prepare the filling:

To do this, wash and clean the young onion and cut into fine rings.

Wash the chard and cut into strips. Cut the upper parts of the stems, which are not yet woody, into small pieces and add them.

Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté the young onion in it.

Add the chard and sauté for a bit before adding the white wine. Let the chard collapse a bit so that it loses volume. Then remove from the heat.

Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

Remove the dried tomatoes from the oil and cut them into fine strips.

Add them to the chard mixture in the pan with the egg and the feta. Mix everything well and season with salt and pepper.

Fill the strudel dough as indicated in the basic recipe and bake on the middle rack for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

Remove the feta-mangold strudel from the oven and serve hot.
