Instructions:

Prepare strudel sheets according to package instructions. Preheat oven to 180° C. Fry onion and sausage cubes in oil. Add pumpkin, season with salt, pepper and caraway seeds and sauté for approx. 5 min. until soft. Allow to cool. Beat two raw eggs into the mixture to make the filling creamier. Place one strudel sheet on a kitchen towel, brush with melted butter, place the second strudel sheet on top offset by 90°, spread half of the filling on the bottom half of the dough. Fold in both sides of the strudel about 3 cm and roll up from the bottom with the help of the kitchen towel. Place strudel in a round buttered baking dish in a snail shape, brush with butter and sprinkle with pumpkin seeds. Bake in the preheated oven on the middle shelf for about 25 minutes until golden brown. In the meantime, prepare the garlic sauce and serve with the strudel.
