Melt the chocolate over a water bath. Coarsely chop the chestnuts.

Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a rectangular baking tray (23 x 23 cm) with baking paper.

Mix butter until peaks form. Stir in sugar and salt. Add eggs and mix until the mixture is nice and light. Mix in chocolate, chestnut puree and milk. Add flour and stir in. Finally, fold in the pieces of chestnut.

Spread the batter on the baking sheet until smooth.

Bake in the middle of the oven for 20-25 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet.

Cover and place in a cool place until ready to serve.
