For curd dumplings, mix curd with softened butter, powdered sugar, flour, semolina, eggs, lemon zest and lemon juice until smooth. Chill the dough for about 1 hour.
Form about 10 equally sized dumplings from the chilled curd dough. Simmer gently in boiling water for about 10-15 minutes until the curd dumplings float to the surface.
