For the cupcakes with two-tone frosting, first preheat the oven to 210 °C (gas 3-4). Place paper cups in the muffin tin.

Mix dry ingredients and the chocolate, press an indentation in the center. Mix eggs with buttermilk in another baking bowl, pour into the bulge with the butter and stir with a metal spoon until a batter forms. The batter should still have lumps. Fill the bulges of the muffin tin 3/4 full with batter. Bake for 30 minutes. Check for doneness. When muffins are cooked through, let cool in pan for 5 minutes, then remove and cool completely.

In the meantime, make the frosting. Mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar and butter well. Depending on the consistency, add powdered sugar or cream cheese if necessary. Pour half of the mixture into a second bowl. Color one half with food coloring.

Insert one half into one part of a double spray bottle, and the other half into the second container. Pin the piping bottle together and decorate the cupcakes with two-tone frosting.
