For the chestnuts coated in bacon, first roast the chestnuts according to the basic recipe (leave the oven on afterwards). If necessary, let them cool down a bit and peel them.
Cover a baking tray with baking paper.
Wrap a slice of bacon around each peeled chestnut and pin with a toothpick if needed.
Place the bacon-wrapped chestnuts on the baking sheet and place in the oven for 5-10 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
