Instructions:

For the carrot cake, butter the cake pan and preheat the oven to 190° C.

Beat the yolks with the sugar, salt, cinnamon, clove powder and kirsch until foamy.

Mix the carrots, the almonds, the nuts, the breadcrumbs and the flour sifted with baking powder and fold everything into the yolk mixture.

Whip the egg whites with 100 g of sugar and fold into the batter as well.

Pour the batter into the cake pan and bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes. Then let the cake cool down.
