Soak leftover bread in milk for several hours, mix eggs, season with finely chopped spices, kitchen herbs, onion and pour over the bread mixture form. Mix well, perhaps thicken with whole grain oatmeal. Let stand 30 min. Grease a loaf pan, pour in dough, press hard-boiled eggs deep into dough. Bake on middle rack at 180 °C for about 60 min.
Cut into thick slices and serve with sour whipped cream as an entrée, cooled as a snack or possibly with vegetables as a main course.
Our tip: It is best to use fresh herbs for a particularly good aroma!
