Airy Pancakes with Butter and Maple Syrup

Instructions:

Mix eggs, add milk. Add sugar, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix everything with a mixer for 1-2 min. until a smooth dough. Allow to rise for 30 min.

Heat 1-2 tsp oil in a coated frying pan. Pour 2 – 3 tbsp. batter per pancake into the frying pan and fry until golden brown on both sides. Remove and keep warm. Bake a total of 8 pancakes this way.

On each pancake mold 1/2 tsp butter and let melt. Serve with maple syrup.

“Grade B” has a strong savory flavor and dark brown color. “Grade C” syrup is almost black and of intense flavor. Grade A maple syrup is predominantly available in stores.

Tip: Always use an aromatic ham, it will add a wonderful touch to your dish!
