Perhaps your new favorite bean dish:
Soak the beans (English: black-eyed peas, are white beans with a distinct black “navel”) for one night. Drain, cover with fresh water, bubble and simmer until soft (about 2 hours). Drain. Place beans in food processor form with garlic cumin and salt. Saute onion and peppers in oil, add to bean mixture form, work through to a dough.
Form into balls the size of ping-pong balls, fry in oil at 180 °C and serve warm.
